Taking Better Photos
Since the “How to Take Better Photos” posts are turning into a series, I figured it’d probably be easier for everyone if they had their own landing page.
Here you’ll find links to every post in the series, as well as some random info about my photography experience.

Photography Experience
I’ve been taking pictures since I was a kid, but it wasn’t until I started taking photography classes in high school that I really figured out what I was doing. Now, nearly fifteen years later, I’ve long since migrated from film to digital, and mainly occupy myself shooting pictures of our son, Nolan, and our lazy yellow lab, Smith. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I have enough experience to have a pretty good sense of what I like and what I don’t, and what works and what doesn’t. My posts are a humble attempt to pass some of that know-how on to others who want to step up their game.
