I’ve had high hopes for the second-generation Mazda6 for some time now. I’ve followed its development as it went from announcement to cobbled-together track mule to heavily disguised prototype. I’ve POSTED about it. But, more than anything, I’ve hoped that Mazda would absolutely, completely and utterly knock it out of the park.

And you know what? They did. Here it is.

Oh. And did I mention it’s available as a five-door hatchback (as represented in the second picture)? Because trunks are worthless.
