Road Trip Day 3 – Atlanta to Greensboro

July 16, 2006

We kick off day three with a brunch at the Southern Skillet (I wonder if they have anything fried on the menu…) in the suburb of Roswell before touring the Archibald Smith plantation.  Archibald, that’s just not a name you hear these days.  Probably because some jackass started shortening it to Archie, which doesn’t carry the same gravitas.

After having a grand old time in Roswell (Georgia, not New Mexico), we set out northeast, heading into South Carolina and then North Carolina, finally ending up at our bed and breakfast just outside Greensboro.

My word, it’s getting more like “Deliverance” every day.
