Grand Draggin’

November 9, 2004

Last night I unknowingly ran over a thin strip of metal.  That thin strip of metal lodged itself up under the Xterra, and proceeded to create a godawful noise and a trail of sparks (SPARKS!) as I drove home.

I knew about the noise.  It was impossible to ignore.  Old ladies were staring, dogs were barking, children crying.  But I was ignorant of the sparks, as I was inside the vehicle at the time.  A passing jogger informed me as I was removing the random metal strip from the bottom of the vehicle.

SPARKS!  How cool is that?  I almost wedged the metal back where it had been.  Probably would have, if not for the noise that accompanied the sparks.
