A Roman Wedding

June 7, 2004

I typically try to avoid posting any potential spoilers of the novel up on the blog, but at the same time I figured that Scipio (pronounced ‘Skip-ee-oh’) and Aemilia’s (pronounced ‘Aye-melia’) wedding is not really much of a spoiler, considering that their betrothal is mentioned in the first chapter of the story.

Well, last night work began on writing the actual wedding. Thirty pages of Chapter X are now covered in black ink. Despite the several days eaten up by vacation, I think this chapter is proceeding quite well.

Perhaps it is because I simply cannot wait for Chapter XI, and especially the climactic Chapter XII.
